I keep mine in the house, just stored inside a pan for safety. I don't think they just flame up for no reason, need an overcharge or to be punctured. I think they are pretty safe or we would probably not be allowed to buy them. I think they would be much safer in the house instead of in a hot garage...

Building is more than half of the fun for me. I can remember back in the 80's there was no such thing as an ARF. I remember when the ARC's started to appear in Tower Hobbies catalogs. It sure has changed a lot!

Hey Christoph, did the power lines give you any problems? I took my R/C truck down there a couple weeks ago and when I got near the power lines it stopped responding. It's probably more related to it being a cheap AM radio. What type of radio do you use? Nick

Have fun covering those wing tips! That was the hardest part for me. I think yours will probably fly better without the dihedral.

Sounds like you need a Watts-up meter to know for sure. Different props make a big difference as well.
