I'm probably not the best candidate to teach ANYONE......SLAM should use me as the last resort intro pilot :)))
Although............I can teach people how to make a spectacular crash

I’m not sure if Shannon will be able to make it or not but this is what we had planed for Friday and Saturday. I know I’ll be there Friday and some Saturday.

I’m not sure if anyone forgot but this Friday and Saturday we were going to set up a display and flight simulator in the Base Exchange Mall area. The plan was to start the Pilot Training Program but without the support of AMA. Shannon and I was going to take some planes and his lap-top with a larger monitor. I’m not sure if Shannon will be here or if he would want to under his circumstances.

What I need is a lap-top or CPU (or two would be even better ) that has the G 3.5 or G-4 so we can let people see what it would be like to fly. That would also be a good time to have some flyers out for the AFFF. I’m going to bring my Big Stick 60 and my P-40 that’s still in the box to show how an ARF comes, Shannon was going to bring his 1/3rd scale. Any non Military members who want to come out for a short time or longer we can get you signed on. The plan is to set up about 10:00 and go as long as we can. There are places to eat at the Mall if you want.

I have the flyers in my garage. If someone wants to swing by my house and pick them up I will call ahead and have them ready. I have my computer with me in NY so I guess thats out for Friday. I can bring my plane up Saturday morning but I have been gone for a week and need to take care of things at home before Sunday's flying/field set up. You can also use any of my planes or helicopter for the display if you want to. Call me and I will give you the details on how to get them.

I can maybe help out on Friday. Work has been slow so I don't see it being a problem really. I do still have the BVM F-16 in USAF red white and blue colors, it would probably get some attention even without landing gear. Let me know Rodney and I will at least bring it and let it sit on display.

That would be great. Can you get on base or do I need to sign you in?

I'm still trying to scam Friday off. I'll know more as the day unfolds. Should have the Wedge there and the Extra might make it as well. Just waiting for the wing tube and radio gear but it'll be good enough for a display. Where are we setting up in the old coffee shop at the BX?

Is someone bringing the banner that was at Perry? That would be cool to have up there.
